Since its first publication within the past decade, the Nigerian Journal of Chest Diseases (NJCD) had been in printed copies Only. However, The first online open access. publication begins this year 2024. The Journal is published by the Nigerian Thoracic Society (NTS), and it is flagship journal of the Society. Published in the electronic form only, the journal is an Open Access journal which serves as a medium for the publication of research findings in the broad field of respiratory medicine in Africa, and other developing countries.  Two issues are published per year (May and November), depending on the volume of manuscript submission available. We the publication frequency will increase in the future.
